Many Decisions have to be made when you are deciding to Renovate or Build New.

  • Why are you wanting the change?
  • What kind of products can you use?
  • Who can you get to design, source and build your dream?
  • How much will the interior project cost?
  • How much time will it take? Etc, Etc

Following is an Outline of the Interior Process we at IMAGE To INTERIOR® use when we are Hired to Interior Design a Renovation or New Home:

1.     Client Contacts CIIID Interior Consultant to

present liveable style concepts for their home or office space.

    • Interior style Connections and Consultations are done via phone, online or onsite
    • Design thru Style Strategy are sent via email and presented through interior photos, or by hand and/or computer concept drawings.
    • Hourly consulting fees apply and moves into the Contract Stage

2.     The Client approves:

    • Job Pkg fee is established
    • Interior Agreement is signed by both parties
    • Deposit is paid to Image to Interior Inc.

3.     CIIID Interior CONSULTANT and/or Client

interviews General Contractors for proposed interior project to ensure that all three parties can work together through communication on:

    • design style products and application
    • job – time management demands
    • budget allotment

 

4.     Chosen General Contractor then:

    • Takes concept drawings to permit or working drawings if required.
    • Interviews and hires the Artisans and Trades people for construction
    • Creates a budget using the Strategist’s interior selection parameters.

 

5.     Upon budget acceptance & job time line the Contractor will:

    • Give in written form to client, the approved budget allowance range for each interior element needing to be selected
    • – ie: plumbing & lighting fixtures; flooring & wall materials; cabinetry & built-ins; counter material, millwork etc.
    • Give in written form the common job time line requirements
    • Get signed Job Contract or Agreement from Client
    • Obtain deposit for  proposed job from Client
    • Get permit drawings created for Client and Strategist’s approval
    • Supplies the Construction Company’s name; address; phone & fax numbers; email address and any other necessary info to Image to Interior Inc.

6.     Upon receipt of those the CIIID Interior CONSULTANT:

    • Recommend interior products that work within approved style concept and budget
    • Choose interior products required and clearly identified in agreement.
    • Give the list of products to both client and contractor
    • Be available for comments and quality control as needed
    • Prepare the style completion recommendation list to include:
      •  paint and wall treatments
      • window and floor coverings
      • furniture and accessory suggestions and/or sourcing and purchasing as necessary.

7.     CONTRACTOR & CIIID INTERIOR CONSULTANT

    • Create Project Time Schedule
    • Report what we have accomplished – Weekly, Monthly

8.     Completion by  CIIID INTERIOR CONSULTANT

    • Includes summary of concepts; photos, products chosen and installed
    • Completion Agreement Signed by Clients
    • Final invoice paid
